Why We Serve
Why We Serve
We have been called as Christians to be Kingdom builders. As the Apostle James states, “faith without works is dead” (James 2:17). Thus, a Christian must not only be hearers but also doers of the Word by loving others, caring for the needy, and sharing the gospel.
Serving is more than an action—it is an outward expression of an inward transformation. When we serve, we reflect the heart of Christ, who came not to be served but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many (Mark 10:45). Every act of service, whether great or small, becomes a testimony of God’s love at work in us. It is through service that we shine as the light of the world, offering hope to the hurting, meeting the needs of the vulnerable, and pointing others toward the saving grace of Jesus. In serving, we align our lives with God’s mission and participate in the advancement of His Kingdom on earth.
